- 1997 Honda Civic EX
This 1997 Honda Civic EX has been a great car for me. I used it to commute to school (from Vancouver, WA to Salem, OR) for the last two school years, but now that I’m finished, I no longer need the car. It gets great fuel mileage (usually between 30 and 33 mpg), and is a lot of fun to drive. The car has an automatic transmission, and it shifts great. The car has about 155,000 miles on it, but has a new engine, so it should run great for a really long time! I’ve taken good care of the car, getting oil changes on time, getting the transmission serviced, etc. I had the engine replaced less than a year ago (new engine only has about 20,000 miles on it), and had the struts replaced about 6 months ago. All together I’ve put about $4,000 into the car. It has aftermarket wheels, low profile tires (3 of them are new), a great sound system, and an alarm system.
